PERU - On Saturday, Nov. 23, holiday Huskies will escort a special holiday visitor to Peru Mall. Santa Claus’ furry friends will chauffeur him via sleigh to the shopping center at 11 a.m., arriving at the south end of the mall by Jo-Ann Fabric and Crafts and traveling through the mall to Santa’s winter wonderland home at center court.
Children are invited to gather to welcome the jolly fellow as he makes his way to his temporary holiday home. While supplies last, refreshments will be served as Santa settles into his temporary holiday home. While Santa greets the children, friendly Huskies will issue free kisses. In return, the playful pooches welcome back scratches and fun holiday selfies.
During the holiday season, Santa will be in residence at his short-term home, where youngsters can share their Christmas wishes through Tuesday, Dec. 24. All children visiting Santa through the holidays will receive a Winter Wonderland activity book.
While visiting Santa is free, professional, state-of-the-art digital photography packages are available to capture Santa’s visitation moments that can be treasured for years to come. The images are available immediately.
Peru Mall, a retail center by GK Development Inc., supports the community through multiple programs during the year, including back-to-school giveaways, Cops 4 Cancer and numerous IVCH health programs.
