WEST BROOKLYN – The Lee County Farm Bureau is pleased to announce Adam Henkel of West Brooklyn as the recipient of this year’s Distinguished Service Award. This award was established to honor and recognize an individual or couple who has shown exemplary leadership and service to Farm Bureau, agriculture and farmers in Lee County and beyond.
Henkel was chosen to receive the award in recognition of his years of service and his contributions to the Lee County Farm Bureau and to agriculture. Over the years, Henkel has served the Farm Bureau in a number of capacities including years of service on the Young Leader Committee and as an active program volunteer. Currently, Henkel serves on the board of directors.
