EARLVILLE - Harlan L. Anderson, 91, of Earlville, passed away Feb. 23, 2018 at the Mendota Lutheran Home.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 27 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Earlville with Rev. Tammy Anderson officiating. Burial will follow at Precinct Cemetery in Earlville. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of service on Feb. 27 at the church.
Harlan was born Nov. 21, 1926 in Earlville to LeRoy and Ruth (Greyer) Anderson. He married Lois M. Stewart on June 20, 1948 in Earlville. She preceded him in death.
Survivors include two children, Karen (Lyle) Gleason of Quinton, Va. and Jerry Anderson of Sugar Grove; four grandchildren, Kara (Allen) Stocks, Jonathan (Lauren) Gleason, Laura (Lowell) Lamb and Ryan (Amber) Anderson; eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife and one sister, Joyce Bagamery.
Harlan was a lifelong member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and of the LaSalle County Farm Bureau. He farmed in the Earlville area his entire life. He and Lois enjoyed traveling and camping.
