GRAYSLAKE – Mendota Trojan golfer Austin Robinson had his season come to a close in the Grayslake (Central) Class 2A Sectional Golf Tournament on Oct. 10.
The MHS junior shot an 18-hole round of 100 and did not qualify for a trip to the state tournament.
Nick Ceruzzi of Sterling was the individual medalist with a 71.
The top three teams advancing to state were Crystal Lake (Prairie Ridge) with a 318, Arlington Heights (St. Viator) with a 329 and Vernon Hills with a 335.
