EARLVILLE - Geraldine “Jerry” Kukuk, 87, of Earlville, passed away Aug. 4, 2018 at her home.
Memorial Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 10, 2018 at the Hanley-Turner-Eighner Funeral Home in Earlville. Graveside service will follow at Precinct Cemetery in Earlville with Pastor Tammy Anderson officiating.
Jerry was born May 25, 1931 in Earlville to Harold and Rue Baxter (Wiley) Smith. She married Robert R. Kukuk on May 11, 1956 in Ottawa. He preceded her in death.
Survivors include three daughters, Bonnie Przetacznik of Paw Paw, Debbie Conover of Lewiston, Idaho and Pennie (Robert McDade) Van Pelt of Somonauk; six grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren; one sister-in-law, Joan Kukuk of Colorado; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one sister, Lynne Quale; and one son-in-law, Dennis Conover.
Jerry was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Earlville. She enjoyed doing cross stitch, needlepoint and other crafts as well as working on jigsaw puzzles. She visited with the residents of Rochelle Gardens Care Center daily when she spent time with her husband.
