Four Trojan soccer players land all-conference honors

MENDOTA – Four Mendota Trojan soccer players were chosen as Big Northern Conference all-conference team members for the 2017 season.

Senior Paco Romero and sophomore Emiliano Arteaga were each named to the first team, while senior Ruti Arteaga and junior Eddie Perez were selected to the second team. Romero also made the first team last season.

First Team

Dixon – Yazen Abdullah, Boston Glessner

Rockford Christian – Andy Volk, Max Cincinnati, Jace Joiner

Mendota – Paco Romero, Emiliano Arteaga

Stillman Valley – Nathan Hunt, Ryder James

Byron – Colton Johnson

Rockford Lutheran – Noah Wheaton

Oregon – Eduardo Guzman

Genoa-Kingston – Damen Tiljerina, Zack Uecker

Second Team

Dixon – Nate Hawkins, Ethan Fox

North Boone – Jacob Kinser

Rockford Christian – Cole Dunn
