MENDOTA – St. John's Lutheran Church, 607 10th Ave., will host a Food Pack Event for Kids Against Hunger on Saturday, Oct. 20 from 12-3 p.m.
Kids Against Hunger is a humanitarian organization whose primary purpose is to provide fully nutritious food to impoverished children around the world.
Come help pack meals. The volunteer packaging of Kids Against Hunger gives you an opportunity to contribute, "hands-on," in feeding the world. There are jobs for people of all ages who can help. For more information or to sign up, contact St. John's church office at (815) 539-5626 or email laura@stjohnsmendota.org.
If you can't pack but would like to donate, see the church office.
