Bishop Wade Hudson
MENDOTA - First United Methodist Church of Mendota is pleased to announce a special guest speaker, Bishop Wade Hudson, on Sunday, May 6. He will speak at the 10:30 a.m. service followed by a potluck and diversity dialogue.
Bishop Hudson is pastor of the Moses Temple Holiness Church of Deliverance located on Chicago’s south side. He received his Doctorate of Divinity in 2012.
A seasoned pastor, Bishop Hudson comes from an international ministry with outreach that includes mentoring troubled youth, assisting homeless veterans, and feeding the hungry. Additionally, his church has a calling to reach out across racial lines in an effort to find common ground and understanding between different races and backgrounds.
