First Presbyterian Church planning special worship

MENDOTA – First Presbyterian Church, Mendota, invites the community to join in at a special worship service at 10 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 17, conducted by Pastor Laurie and the church’s Kenyan partners, Kajuju and Kaburu.
Guests represent the Imenti Presbyteries, which are in their 25th year partnering with the Blackhawk Presbytery. First Presbyterian has recently begun a specific partnership with the Maua Town Church’s street ministry. Come hear how God is working through the church partnership to build relationships and change people’s lives.

The season will culminate on World Communion Sunday, Oct. 1. The first Sunday in October is designated as World Communion Sunday, which celebrates a oneness in Christ with all our brothers and sisters around the world. All are invited to join in at 10 a.m. to share this special meal together that unites Christians around the world in the Spirit.
