PRINCETON - Following on the heels of their “Holly, Jolly Follies” in December and “Rabbit Hole” reading in January, Festival 56 is shaking things up with “Love, Love Me Do!”, a virtual cabaret of hit tunes and love songs from the 1950s and 1960s.

Nine artists who audiences know and love from their past performances in Princeton are returning to the virtual stage to share some of their Motown, Rat Pack, and rock-and-roll favorites.

The cabaret will premiere on the Festival 56 YouTube channel on Thursday, Feb. 11 at 7:30 p.m. and will be available for viewing until midnight on Sunday, Feb. 14. The cabaret is organized and hosted by Frank Monier and is made possible by a grant from The Arts of Starved Rock Country Fund with additional funding from the Community Arts Access Program of the Illinois Arts Council and the National Endowment for the Arts.
