Fall gardening program presented

PRINCETON – On Sept. 12 at 6:30 p.m. Charles Warren, a University of Illinois Extension Master Gardener, will present the program “Putting Your Garden to Rest” at the Princeton Public Library. Although the fall season will soon be upon us, there is still plenty of work to do in the garden in order to prepare for winter and spring. Join Master Gardener Charles Warren as he discusses month by month general garden tips, as well as chores to mark off your list related to flowers, turf, ornamental trees and shrubs, fruit trees and plants, vegetables, and houseplants.
