VALLEJO, Calif. - Ezekiel James King was born Feb. 19, 2018 and although paramedics, fire, police and doctors did their very best, he passed away on Feb. 22 at Kreiser Hospital in Vallejo, Calif.
Cremation rites were accorded. A Catholic memorial service was held on March 2 at Skyview Memorial Chapel in Vallejo with Father Andrés Emmanuelli officiating.
Survivors include his parents, Matthew King and Patricia Thein of Vallejo; one brother, Myles; maternal grandparents, Rick and Lissette Thein of American Canyon, Calif.; paternal grandparents, Deb King of Mendota and Tony King of Utica; maternal great-grandmother, Carol Sampo of LaMoille; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his paternal great-grandparents, George and Lucille King and Ronald Sampo; and paternal great-uncle, Dennis Sampo.
During his three short days, Ezekiel gave joy to many and was deeply loved by family and friends. He also gave the gift of being an organ donor.
