OTTAWA - Join University of Illinois Extension and the LaSalle County Farm Bureau at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 25 for an “Estate Planning for Agriculture” program. The session will be held at the Extension’s LaSalle County Office, 1689 N. 31st Road, Ottawa.
Presentations will be provided by Jim McCabe, Farm Business Farm Management, Fieldman; Chris Kline, Country Companies, Estate Specialist; and Tim Harris, Illinois Society of Professional Farm Managers & Rural Appraisers.
Topics to be covered include how to minimize economic impact of estate tax on our families, new estate tax rules, planning an estate around taxation, and what Federal and State estate taxation does for future generation legacy.
