MENDOTA - The Mendota High School Band will hold their 61st annual Ice Cream Social Concert on Tuesday, June 27 at 7 p.m. in Veterans Park, downtown Mendota. All are welcome to join the band for a fun and music-filled evening.
The band will perform numerous pieces including a medley from the popular movie series, “Pirates of the Caribbean.” Additionally, the band will perform the opening tune from its fall Marching Band Show, which features the music of The Beatles.
Audience members are encouraged to bring a lawn chair or blanket for seating. Cupcakes, root beer floats, and ice cream will be available for purchase. Raffle tickets for a weekend trip to Wisconsin Dells will also be sold, with proceeds benefiting the band.
In case of rain, the concert will be moved to the Mendota High School Gym.
