Emotional Intelligence to be featured at IVAC Business Breakfast, June 12

PERU - The Illinois Valley Area Chamber of Commerce and Economic Development’s (IVAC) next Business Breakfast Seminar will feature “Emotional Intelligence 2.0.”

Join the discussion at 7:30 a.m. on Wednesday, June 12 at Mario’s Maples in Peru as speaker Donna Honold shares her 25-plus years of education, experience and training to show how to interact, build rapport, connect and collaborate with others to achieve overall goals.  

Honold has a Master of Arts degree in Adult Education from the University of South Dakota, as well as certifications in DDI, Achieve Global, Myers Briggs and Change Management. Most recently, she became a certified practitioner of Genos Emotional Intelligence.

Honold and her husband, Charlie have formed RIFFLE, Inc., a communications company that offers custom-designed training, coaching, and facilitation uniquely coupled with a full range of creative, broadcast and design services. Together, they have developed and trademarked a model for accountability and problem solving called Flying Above the Clouds.

The seminar will begin with a hot breakfast buffet served at 7:15 a.m. and the program will start at 7:30 a.m. Reservations must be made by calling (815) 223-0227 no later than noon on Tuesday, June 11. The breakfast is open to the public.
