OTTAWA – The North Central Illinois Council of Governments will host their semi-annual dinner on Thursday, May 18 at Pitstick Pavilion in Ottawa.

Join attorneys Dan Bolin and Greg Jones from Ancel Glink for a lively discussion about how to cope with, regulate and foster emerging technologies.

Short term rentals – AirBNB and VRBO present new challenges and opportunities. Learn how to recognize the benefits of having short-term rentals in your community and how to regulate their presence.

Social Media - Facebook and Twitter are changing the way communities deliver services, provide public awareness and encourage citizen participation. Learn how to have measures in place to maximize the benefits and protect your local government’s interests.

The evening starts at 5:15 p.m. with a buffet ($10 per person) followed by the presentation. To RSVP, call (815) 433-5830 or e-mail dtuftie@ncicg.org.
