MENDOTA – The Mendota Elks will host a Recognition Day service and P.O.W/M.I.A. Missing Man Table at Veterans Park on Thursday, Sept. 14. A short ceremony will begin at 6 p.m.
The Missing Man Table symbolizes that those who were prisoners of war (P.O.W.) or missing in action (M.I.A) are not forgotten.
The public is invited to attend this service. Refreshments will be served afterward.
