Area students graduate from Augustana College

ROCK ISLAND – Augustana College, Rock Island, held its commencement ceremony on Sunday, May 22. U.S. Senator Dick Durbin delivered the address. The graduating class totaled 508.

Among the graduates who participated in the ceremony were Elizabeth Frame of Earlville, major in Biology, and Bryson Prusator of Mendota, major(s) in History Education and Middle Grades Education-Social Science.

Those graduating were given advice by Senator Durbin, who reflected on the resilience and hard work of this year's graduates and commended Augustana's commitment to preparing the next generation of peacemakers and problem solvers.


Eager named to Palmer College Dean's List

DAVENPORT, Iowa – Madeline Eager of Mendota has been named to the spring 2022 Dean's List at Palmer College of Chiropractic's Main campus in Davenport, Iowa.

Palmer College of Chiropractic, the first and largest college in the chiropractic profession, has campuses in Davenport, Iowa; San Jose, Calif.; and Port Orange, Fla.
