Olivet dean’s list

BOURBONNAIS - Cordell May of Mendota was named to the dean’s list at Olivet Nazarene University in Bourbonnais during the recently completed fall 2017 semester.

To qualify for inclusion on the dean’s list, a student must have been enrolled as a full-time undergraduate and must have attained a semester grade point average of 3.50 or higher on a 4.00 grading scale.

UW-Madison dean’s list

MADISON, Wis. - James Carroll of Mendota has been recognized on the University of Wisconsin-Madison dean’s list for the fall semester. To be eligible, students must complete a minimum of 12 graded degree credits in that semester. Each university school or college sets its own GPA requirements.

Carroll attends the College of Agricultural & Life Science at UW-Madison.

Missouri S&T honor list

ROLLA, Mo. - Kevin C. Schulze of Mendota, a senior majoring in petroleum engineering, has been included on the Missouri University of Science and Technology honor list for the fall 2017 semester. To be included, a student must carry a minimum of 12 hours and have a grade point average of 3.2 or above on a 4.0 scale.

Founded in 1870 as the University of Missouri School of Mines and Metallurgy, Missouri University of Science and Technology (Missouri S&T) is a research university of more than 8,800 students and part of the four-campus University of Missouri System.

Saint Mary’s College dean’s list

NOTRE DAME, Ind. - Whitney Lewis of Mendota has been named to the fall semester dean’s list at Saint Mary’s College in Notre Dame, Ind. To earn academic honors at Saint Mary’s, a student must achieve a grade point average of at least 3.6 on a 4.0 scale, have at least 12 graded credit hours, no incompletes, and no grades lower than a C.

Saint Mary’s is a four-year, Catholic, residential, women’s liberal arts college offering five bachelor’s degrees and more than 30 major areas of study, such as business, nursing, art, chemistry and social work.
