UW-Platteville Chancellor’s List
PLATTEVILLE, Wis. - Marie Barnickel of Compton has been included on the University of Wisconsin-Platteville Chancellor’s List, which honors students who attained a perfect 4.0 grade-point average for the fall 2019 semester. Barnickel, a graduate of Mendota High School, is majoring in Agricultural Business.
UW-Platteville, founded in 1866, has been named the best in Wisconsin for annual return on investment for the fourth consecutive year by Payscale and the best in the state (and seventh nationally) for employment by Zippia, the Career Expert.

Cornell College dean’s list
MOUNT VERNON, Iowa - Erin Hosto of LaMoille was among 254 students named to the Cornell College dean’s list for the fall 2019 semester. To be included, students achieved a semester grade point average between 3.60 and 3.79.
Cornell College, located in Mount Vernon, Iowa, is a national liberal arts college with a distinctive One Course At A Time curriculum. Students take one class for 18 days, which provides students the chance to dive into their studies and focus more intensely on the classes of their choice. Students shed the confines of the traditional classroom and study off-campus pursuing research or accepting an internship, all without missing out on other classes.
