Bradley Dean's List

PEORIA - Five local students were among nearly 1,700 students included on the fall 2018 dean’s list at Bradley University. They include Mendota residents, Evan Weber (accounting), Noah Bollinger (finance), Samuel Becker (mechanical engineering) and Cameron Schumacher (psychology) and Caleb Sarff of LaMoille (mechanical engineering).

Full-time students who earn a semester GPA of 3.5 or higher on a 4.0 grading scale have the distinction of being placed on the dean’s list for their outstanding scholastic achievement.

Bradley University is a top-ranked, private university offering 5,400 undergraduate and graduate students the resources of a larger university and the personal attention of a smaller university. More than 185 academic programs are offered in business, communications, education, engineering, fine arts, health sciences, liberal arts and sciences, and technology.


Knox dean’s list

GALESBURG - Ashley Kerley of Earlville has been named to the Knox College dean’s list of distinguished students for the 2018 fall term. To be included, a student must earn at least 2.5 credits in the term, with a grade point average of 3.6 or better (on a 4.0 scale).

Kerley is majoring in neuroscience at Knox after completing high school at the Illinois Math and Science Academy.

Founded in 1837, Knox College is a national liberal arts college that enrolls students from nearly every state and more than 50 countries. Knox’s “Old Main” is a National Historic Landmark and the only building remaining from the 1858 Lincoln-Douglas debates.
