ROCK ISLAND – Two local students, Samuel Dunklau and Emily Grace, are among 992 students who were named to the Augustana College dean’s list for the 2016-17 winter term. To earn this academic honor, students must maintain a grade-point average of 3.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale for courses taken during the term.
Dunklau, a Paw Paw resident, is a senior majoring in multimedia journalism mass communications. Grace, who is from Earlville, is a senior majoring in sociology-social welfare and public health.
Founded in 1860, Augustana is a selective four-year residential college of the liberal arts and sciences.
