Gabbie Cultra
MALTA - Kishwaukee College student Gabbie Cultra of Earlville has been selected as a 2017 1st Farm Credit Services $500 scholarship.
Cultra entered Kishwaukee in the fall of 2015 as one of the college’s Academic Achievement Award recipients. She was elected president of the Alpha Rho Eta chapter of Phi Theta Kappa at the college for the 2016–17 academic year, served as the student trustee to the college’s board of trustees, and was a member of the 2017 All-Illinois Academic Team.
Cultra will earn an Associate of Science degree when she graduates from Kishwaukee College on May 20. She has maintained a 4.0 grade point average during her two years at Kishwaukee, making her eligible to graduate summa cum laude, the highest academic honor. She plans to attend Iowa State University in Ames this fall to pursue a major in agriculture education.
