MENDOTA - Eddie Jo Shaw, 59, passed away Jan. 3, 2020 at his home after an extended illness.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 11 at the Schwarz Funeral Home with Rev. Mary Bohall officiating. Burial of ashes will follow at Restland Cemetery. Cremation rites have been accorded. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time on Saturday at the funeral home.
Ed was born Dec. 14, 1960 in Mendota to Billy and Betty (Frey) Shaw.
Survivors include his mother, Betty Shaw of Mendota; one sister, Dessa (Keith) Collings of Mendota; daughter of his heart, Azure Moss and her children, Kamden Moss and Kyler Meyer; five nieces and nephews, Justin Collings, Meghan (Greg) Caley, Chelsey (Andrew) Maunu, Adam Hamilton, and Jake Hamilton; step niece and nephew, Ian (Julie) Hamilton and Valerie (Jamie) Humpfrey; six great nieces and nephews; and special cousins, Chad, Kevin, Ralph and Andrea.
He was preceded in death by his father in 1988 and one sister, Linda Hamilton on March 17, 2012.
Ed attended Mendota High School and was a truck driver for many years with Roger Jameson Trucking. He was a member of A.B.A.T.E.
