PERU - Ear, nose and throat specialist Maher Younes, MD, is now receiving patients at the Illinois Valley Community Hospital ENT and Allergy Center.
Dr. Younes came to Peru from Shiloh, where he was in private practice.
After receiving his medical degree from the American University of Beirut in Lebanon, Younes completed post-doctoral research fellowships in head and neck medical oncology and head and neck surgery at the University of Texas M. D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston. He later completed an otolaryngology residency at the University of North Carolina Hospitals in Chapel Hill followed by a fellowship in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond.
At the IVCH ENT and Allergy Center, Younes works with certified physician assistants Angela Vezzetti and Stephanie Zuber and audiologist Jennifer Sangston, AuD.
