Downtown Mendota will soon be in full bloom. Left to right, Kevin Bontz, Brandon Chapman, Cody Smith, Brad Noble, James Dunphry, and Cody Marks of Goldwind USA in Compton, help the Mendota Garden Club plant flowers in the planters along the main streets, May 10. Garden Club members assisting were Steve Lauer, Diane Lauer, Margaret Frick, Alicia Hochstatter, and Ron and Angie Schmitt. The plants were provided by the City of Mendota.
