MENDOTA – A horse drawn wagon circles downtown, Santa and Mrs. Claus greet children of all ages, and a fire truck, ambulance, police car, and tractor are open for kids to explore. It was all part of the Mendota Area Chamber of Commerce’s “A Mendota Christmas,” Dec. 7. Other festivities included Buddy’s Fly In Breakfast, bake sale, craft and vendor show, cookie decorating, Christmas stories, balloons, free hot dogs and hot chocolate, kids’ craft, free book giveaway, and performance from Ballet Folklorico de Colores.
