MENDOTA – Disney’s “Frozen JR.” is playing at the Mendota High School auditorium for two performances, Friday, June 24 at 7 p.m. and Saturday, June 25 at 2 p.m. The spectacular 60-minute musical, designed for ages 8-18 performers, is based on the 2013 Disney film and the 2018 Broadway adaption.
The 3-M Cast (Mendota Education Foundation, Mendota Community Theatre, Mendota High School) includes 33 students, from West Chicago, Morris, and Mendota led by Chris and Stephanie Benson. The production helps to raise funds for classroom grant awards for Mendota schools.
“After 20 consecutive years of community summer shows, we were unable to direct a show the last two years. We are excited, with a number of adjustments, to once again enjoy sharing the talents of the area and to use this outgrowth to raise funds for materials for the students in our schools,” stated Chris Benson.
