Andrea Darveau and Evan Burie of Champaign-Urbana will be married at Forest Hills Country Club in Rockford on July 8.
Parents of the couple are Paul and Carol Darveau of Mendota and Brad and Sally Burie of Rockton.
The bride-elect is a 2009 graduate of Mendota Township High School. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology (2012) from Illinois State University in Normal and a Master of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology (2015) from Fontbonne University in St. Louis, Mo. She is employed as a speech-language pathologist for Champaign Unit 4 School District in Champaign.
The prospective groom is a 2008 graduate of Hononegah Community High School. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Integrated Marketing Communications and Organizational Leadership with a minor in Economics (2013) from Illinois State University in Normal. He is employed as a branch manager for Enterprise Rent-A-Car in Decatur.
