Thirteen dancers from Mendota Just For Kix and their families attended the Just For Kix Outback Bowl Tour in Tampa, Fla. Just For Kix has hosted the tour for over 30 years. These local girls were among 450 dancers to perform Outback Bowl pregame and halftime performances in front of over 60,000 people at Raymond James Stadium on New Year’s Day. The dancers had daily four-hour practices in Tampa to prepare for the performance. When not practicing, the group was able to enjoy trips to Busch Gardens, Clearwater Beach, Disney/Universal, and a New Year’s Eve dinner cruise. Mendota Just For Kix plans to attend the Outback Bowl again in 2019-2020. Ready to perform, left to right, front row, are Jazlynn Gambrell; middle row, Julia Krueger, Hannah Mann, Addyson Allensworth, Shelby Bentley; back row, Rylinn Greer, Jada Temple, Eliza Gambrell, Taylor Bullard, Laney Saylor, Tiffany Preston, Allison Stewart, and Maren Wise.
