PRINCETON – The Princeton Public Library will present a program on container gardening, July 26 at 6:30 p.m. The program will be led by Joy Kauffman, master gardener from the University of Illinois Extension.
Gardening can be an economical and healthful way to feed your family and improve your health. Container Gardening can make it possible to enjoy the benefits in a small space all year round. Learn techniques and examples of successful container gardens that will brighten your day. Topics discussed will include: Selecting the Right Container, Using Enriched Potting Soil, Monitoring Soil Moisture, Don’t Forget The Sunlight, Embracing Aesthetics, Plants For Container Gardens, and Sharing “The Recipe of Abundant Life.”
Participants will also learn how FARM STEW is sharing the blessings of container gardening around the world.
This program is free and all are welcome to attend.
