Night of Improv
STREATOR – Community Players of Streator, Inc., better known as Engle Lane Theatre, is presenting a night of improv comedy on Friday, Feb. 15 at 7 p.m. at the William C. Schiffbauer Center for the Performing Arts at Engle Lane Theatre, 1012 Columbus Road in Streator.
“By the Seat of Our Pants” features the comedic talents of local actors that have been seen on the stage at Engle Lane and other area theatres. Participants include Nik Frig, Maggie Frost, Mark Fulkerson, Bill Gillespie, Marc Gutierrez, Emma Reel and Mark Scheidecker. Director Lisa Gill promises those who attend an evening of 100 percent spontaneous entertainment with a series of games played out on the stage. The troop of actors will show their ability to think on their feet and make it up as they go. “Audience participation will be strongly encouraged,” Gill commented, “and while the event is intended to be family friendly, it’s live and anything can happen.”
Tickets will be available at the door only and are just $10 each.
