LA SALLE - Stage 212 explores living with loss in their fall production of “Rabbit Hole.” In this Pulitzer Prize-winning drama by David Lindsay-Abaire, Becca and Howie Corbett have everything a family could want until a life-shattering accident turns their world upside down and leaves the couple drifting perilously apart. “Rabbit Hole” charts their bittersweet search for comfort in the darkest of places and for a path that will lead them back into the light of day.
Featured in the cast are Zoe Peshel as Becca, Nathan Nosalik as Howie, Sarah Breyne as Izzy, Kathy Missel as Nat and Andrew Beer as Jason.
Production staff includes director Larry Kelsey, co-producers Jessica Kreiser and Joe Ennenbach, assistant director Andrew Beer, stage manager Ella Johns, set designer Zoe Peshel, set builders Cory Tomasson, Scot Smigel, Brian Brown and Steven Kofoid, lighting designer Sarah Breyne, light operator Yvette Lucas, sound designer Kyle Foley and sound operator Fred Davis.
“Rabbit Hole” will be presented Nov. 12-14 and 18-21 at Stage 212, 700 First St., LaSalle. All performances begin at 7:30 p.m. except the Sunday matinees, which begin at 2 p.m. Tickets will be available to the general public for $15 each beginning Nov. 1, and may be purchased by visiting the box office Monday 4- 6 p.m. and Saturday 9 a.m.-noon or by calling (815) 224-3025 during those hours. Tickets may also be purchased online by visiting stage212.org.
Masks will be required in the building for all performances, and Stage 212 will be following IDPH guidelines for Phase 5. A limited number of socially distanced seats will be available for Saturday, Nov. 13 only by calling the box office.
“Rabbit Hole” contains strong adult language and adult themes and is not recommended for viewing by children. “Rabbit Hole” is presented by special arrangement with Dramatists Play Service, Inc., New York.
