What are baoding balls?
The answer to last week’s quiz is: The first true, fully functioning bank ATM was introduced in 1971 although widespread use did not occur until the 1990s. The original idea for bank automation began much earlier, though, in 1939 with inventor Luther George Simjian. Although banks were skeptical at the time, he found one to give his concept a trial run but it did not prove profitable. Over the decades, Simjian’s idea evolved into the ATM as we know it today.
