How many Pulitzer prizes are awarded each year?
The answer to last week’s quiz is: The U.S. flag has almost always had 13 stripes with one exception. When Vermont and Kentucky, states 14 and 15, were admitted to the union, a flag with 15 stripes was created. Due to concern about continually adding stripes, a decision was made to revert to 13 stripes, which represent the original 13 colonies.
