MENDOTA - Carl A. Kerchner, 90, of Mendota passed away April 18, 2021 at Aperion Care, Princeton.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, April 21 at Restland Cemetery, Mendota with Rev. Ken Gibson officiating. Merritt Funeral Home, Mendota is handling arrangements.
Carl was born Aug. 17, 1930 in Mendota to Carl and Rena (Mann) Kerchner.
Survivors include one sister, Ruth Molln of Ohio, Ill. and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Oscar, George, Wilbert and Kenneth; and two sisters, Margaret and Marie.
Carl worked for Mendota Township Road District for 34 years. He was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Mendota. He was well known for raising quality show rabbits. He loved attending car shows and fairs and enjoyed riding his motorcycle back in the day.
