MENDOTA - Byron Jay Chaon, 52, passed away Oct. 26, 2017.
Family and friends will join a private celebration of Byron’s Life with full military honors on Nov. 3.
Byron was born Nov. 3, 1964 to Robert Francis and Marilyn Chaon.
Survivors include his wife of 23 years, Paula; two daughters, Morgan and Genevieve; his mother, Marilyn; two brothers, Jeff and Mike; and one sister, Cindy.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert, and his grandparents, Lionel and Alice Chaon and Robert and Elma Masters.
Byron grew up in Mendota and after attending college, he proudly served our country in the U.S. Navy beginning in 1986. After two tours of duty, he continued to serve as a naval contractor. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends and looked forward to an annual “boys” fishing trip.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to K9s for Warriors.
