MENDOTA - Bernardo Godina, 79, of Mendota passed away at his son’s home in Spring Valley on May 7, 2018.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 12 at Holy Cross Church, Mendota with Fr. Peter Pilon officiating. Burial will follow at Holy Cross cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:30-8 p.m. on Friday, May 11 at the Schwarz Funeral Home, Mendota.
Bernardo was born in Mexico to Benjamin (Maria Godina) Orozco. He married Victorina Nunez.
Survivors include his wife of Mendota; four sons, Mario Orozco of Redwood City, Calif., Armando (Cuca Magallenes) Orozco of Redwood City, Calif., Bernardo (Erica) Orozco of Spring Valley and Francisco (Graviela) Orozco of Elijay, Ga.; two daughters, Leonar (Fermin Cardenas) Orozco of Mexico and Irma Godina of Mendota; 18 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and one brother, Antonio Orozco of Mexico.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Salvador; and one sister, Inez Orozco. Memorials may be directed to the family c/o the funeral home. Condolences may be left at schwarzfuneral.com.
