ROCKFORD - Avis Natalin Keho, 88, of Rockford, formerly of Amboy, died Sept. 15, 2017 at Crimson Pointe Assisted Living Center in Rockford.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 21, 2017 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Amboy with Rev. Timothy Draper, pastor, officiating. Burial will follow at St. Patrick Cemetery, Amboy. Visitation will be from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. on Sept. 21 at the church.
Natalin was born Jan. 25, 1929 in Sublette to Samuel and Edna (Bates) Goode. She married Donald J. Keho on Sept. 9, 1950 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Amboy. He preceded her in death on Aug. 30, 1995.
Survivors include one son, Jeffrey (Debi Ferlita) Keho of Rockford; two daughters, Marge (Timothy) Murphy of Locust Grove, Va. and Jacqueline (Robert) May of Marana, Ariz.; three grandchildren, Casey Murphy, Molly (Jeff) Johnson and Sean Dempsey; and one great-granddaughter, Delaney Johnson.
She was preceded in death by her husband and two brothers, Jordan Goode and Stanley Goode.
Natalin worked as a secretary for Attorney Edward Sullivan in Amboy as well as for Amboy CUSD #272 for many years prior to her retirement. She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church, Amboy.
A memorial has been established.
