MENDOTA - Ashlee Lorraine Watson, 23, of Mendota passed away peacefully at her home on June 11, 2019 surrounded by her loving family after a long courageous battle with cancer.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 15 at the Merritt Funeral Home with Rev. Les Funderberg officiating. Burial will be at Lutheran Cemetery, Mendota. Visitation will be from 3-8 p.m. on Friday, June 14 at the funeral home.
Ashlee was born Sept. 5, 1995 in Spring Valley to James and Jennifer (Cotten) Watson.
Survivors include her parents of Mendota; her oldest brother, Matthew James Watson of Mendota; her paternal grandparents, James and Ann Watson of Arlington; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Charles Watson in 2015; her maternal grandparents, Robert and Lorraine Cotton; one aunt, Samantha Sprowls; and one uncle, Stanley Shan.
Ashlee was a 2015 graduate of Mendota High School. She worked at McDonald’s in Mendota and Mendota Mutual Insurance. She cherished her time with her nephew, Parker James, he was her world. She loved her cat, Bubba and her two dogs, Sweetness and Dee.
