He was preceded in death by his parents.
Art grew up in Mendota and attended Mendota High School where he was a track star and still holds the record for the 8/80 relay. He was employed at his family-owned pharmacy, Goslin Drugs from 1959 until his move to Georgia in 1963. A major portion of his career began in 1972, spanning the transition from Western Electric to AT&T to retirement at Lucent Technologies in November 1998. After retirement, he spent most of his days on the greens working as a golf course ambassador and eating lunch at his beloved Applebee’s in Lawrenceville. In his life, he was an avid bowler and golfer. Above all, Art loved worshiping Jesus at Lilburn Alliance Church, where he was a huge presence. He loved the Lord with all his heart and loved his church family tremendously.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Lilburn Alliance Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 61, Lilburn, GA 30247.
