LA SALLE - The LaSalle Public Library will offer a field trip to the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago for youth ages 11 through 14, accompanied by a parent/guardian, on Saturday, Aug. 7. The all-day event, including travel, lunch and tickets, will be paid via grant funding and there will be no cost to participants.
The field trip will include a visit to the Henry Crown Space Center and the Science Storms: Wonder is All-Natural exhibits. A limited number of seats are available. Transportation will be through Green River Lines. All participants must follow the COVID-19 guidelines set by the library, the museum and by Green River during the trip. Funding for this field trip was made possible through grant funding by the Illinois State Library, a Department of the Office of the Secretary of State, Jesse White.
