COMPTON - Alicia L. Work, 29, of Compton passed away May 1, 2019 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Visitation will be from 1-4 p.m. on Sunday, May 5 at the Merritt Funeral Home, Mendota.
Alicia was born Oct. 27, 1989 in Blue Island, outside of Chicago, to Charles Cerveny and Patricia Work.
Survivors include her mother, Patricia (Mark) Fleming of Compton; her father, Charles Cerveny of Mendota; two sons, Mason Miles Michael and Eric Thomas Farley, both of Compton; one daughter, Madison Mae Work-McLain of Mendota; two brothers, Jeremie Work (Stephanie Cupples) of Ottawa and Brandon Fleming of Earlville; one sister, Cheyenne Work (Zach Sibley) of Mendota; nieces, Emma Sibley, Bailey Sibley, Alisia Fleming and Jaiden Wheeler and a nephew, Zach Sibley, Jr. as well as other nieces and nephews; and her stepmother, Stacy Gebhart.
She was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents.
Alicia was a beautiful daughter, a wonderful sister, a loving mother, a great friend and all around person. She was loved by many and she will be missed by everyone who knew her.
