PRINCETON - CHS’s Annawan Plant recently donated $1,000 to the Bureau County Farm Bureau Foundation to benefit Agriculture in the Classroom. CHS Inc., a leading global agribusiness owned by farmers, ranchers and cooperatives across the United States, has a strong commitment to agriculture and agriculture education.
The Bureau County Farm Bureau’s Agriculture in the Classroom program educates youth about all farm commodities and conservation practices. Through the program, different lessons are offered monthly reaching over 2,300 students at all schools in Bureau County where the message of agriculture will be presented each school year.
