MENDOTA - A new sign was recently put in place at the Mendota Area Christian Food Pantry. Acknowledged for their assistance with the project were Doug Ultch, who designed and painted the sign, and Mauch Carpentry, who did the installation. The food pantry serves residents of Mendota, Earlville, LaMoille, Meriden, Sublette, Triumph and Troy Grove. Food and non-food donations are accepted on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9-11 a.m. Monetary donations may be mailed to Mendota Area Christian Food Pantry, 918 N. Main St., Suite 1, Mendota, IL 61342.
