OTTAWA - The Second Annual 5K/10K Run/Walk at Dayton Bluffs Preserve in Ottawa will take place on Saturday, Sept. 28 from 9 to 11 a.m. The course will take participants through the prairies and woodlands of this pristine preserve located on the Fox River.
The Run/Walk is limited to 150 registrants, who each will receive a race T-shirt. The top three overall male and female winners will receive special recognition. Race will begin and end at Hank’s Farm Restaurant. Participants must check in at the main tent located in Hank’s parking lot. Food will be available for purchase after the race on site.
The 5K Run/Walk portion is dog and stroller-friendly for those wishing to share their outdoor experience.

Dayton Bluffs is a 253-acre preserve owned by The Conservation Foundation and leased to the city of Ottawa. The preserve has more than a mile of Fox River frontage and includes unique geological features, multiple ravines, and several prehistoric archeological sites.
