PRINCETON – On Tuesday, Sept. 19 at 6:30 p.m. Peter Wentworth-Sheilds will share recollections of his years working as an art director in the movies. Using examples from movies he has worked on, such as “Star Wars,” “Clockwork Orange,” “Captain Nemo,” and “The Little Prince,” he will explain what it was like to work in motion picture art departments forty to fifty years ago – computers were as big as houses and artists made use of blueprints and scale models, as well as back projection and stop motion to create special effects.
